Battles
There were many battles in Ancient China. Battle of Banquan, Battle of Zhuolu, Battle of Mingtiao and the Battle of Muye.
Battle of Banquan
The battle of Banquan was the first ever Chinese war. It took place in 2500 BC and was said to be a part mythical war. The battle was fought by Huangdi, the yellow Emperor and Yandi, the flame Emperor. The war was located in the southeast of Zhuolu, Hebei, Banquan village of Yanxingm Beijin and Xiezgou country.
Battle of Zhuolu
The battle of Zhuolu was the second battle in China. It was located on the border of Hebei and Liaoning. There were 72-81 tribes that fought against the Hiuaxia tribes, Hiuaxia was oout numbered resutling in Zhuolu claiming victory and were credited for allowing the Han civilization to thrive. They were worshiped as a war deity.
Battle of Mingtiao
The battle of Mingtiao was a battle between the Xia dynasty and the Shang dynsaty and was in 1600BC. The Shang dynasty were victorious and claimed power of the throne of China.
Battle of Muye
The battle of Muye was what caused the Shang dynasty to come to an end. The war took place in 1046BCE (before common era). King Wu crossed the Yellow River and immediately marched his army of 50,00-53,000 Daimyo's and Samurai's towards the capital. Around 170,000 men were given weapons to protect their own city in case the opposition tried to attack their city. The Zhou dynasty ended the Shang dynasty's time in the thrown and filled it's place.

The throne of China was the main cause of battles in Ancient China. The dynasty that is in current possession of the throne of China leads/rules the country. The leader of the dynasty becomes the emperor and has all the power. That is why all of the dynasties wanted the throne, they wanted the power to rule.
